Tigers claw their way to victory but U9s gain the moral victory

Lal and Gary led the first session and started with a few warm up exercises before playing some mixed rugby netball. The players were then broken into 3 mixed teams and had a number of full contact rolling games (winner staying on).

The final game of the day was a 9 aside match between Southwark and a mixed Streatham Croydon/Mitcham team. Both sides ran the space well, with strong tackles going in. Southwark came out on top winning 7-4.

Areas for us to look at/work on include body positions in the tackle and ripping the ball.

A good day and turn out with all the players saying they had fun and enjoyed it.
