It is with much sadness that we bring you the bad news that Cedric Carr passed away on 6th November 2013. A larger than life character and a superb winger who played with distinction for Surrey, Rosslyn Park and Streatham - Croydon, where he linked up again with many school friends from Wolverstone, will be sorely missed by the rugby fraternity.

Cedric had been living abroad for the last 8 years and returned to the UK in April, where he was hospitalised with a rare strain of Motor Neurone Disease. Although Cedrics health was deteriorating there was no reason
to believe he was at immediate risk and it was a great shock to hear that he had passed away peacefully in his sleep.

We will miss him greatly.
