Many congratulations to
Conor Oresanya who started on the right wing for the
England u19 team that played against Italy u19 on Saturday 23rd April 2022 at the Payanini Centre, Verona Italy. England came back from being 13-12 down to win 41-20 with Conor scoring the third try, his first for
England.
Conor, a one club player until he signed for the
Harlequins in 2021, joined the club in 2007 as a 4-year-old mini tagger. He has progressed through the minis and juniors ranks and represented
Surrey County at age grade. In the Harlequins Junior Academy, he scored a notable
hattrick against Worcester u18.
A recent school leaver from
The John Fisher School in Purley (that counts Paul Sackey, Kieran Treadwell and Alex Dombrandt as just some of their
alumni), he is now combining being a senior academy player at Harlequins RFC with studying for a Quantity Surveying degree at Leeds Beckett University. Conor also scored a
debut try for the 1st XV against Swansea University.
The club is extremely proud of Conor and wishes him the best of luck in his burgeoning career on and off the field. We look forward to seeing him in representative colours again very soon.
