Sadia Kabeya , Rugby World Cup Winner and Player of the Match remembers Streatham-Croydon RFC

Player of the Match Sadia Kabeya https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/videos/c2dn1xpp41ko gave a 'shout out' to South London in her acceptance speech when the reporter mentioned Streatham-Croydon RFC. The following day BBC London's Thomas Magill popped down to find out more about our club, where it all began for Sadia and the inspiration that she is giving to our future Red Roses.
This Sunday 5th October, we will be taking part in RugbyFest, a nationwide celebration of rugby and a great way to celebrate winning the World Cup. We will be running taster session for girls (aged 4-18) who want to give rugby a go for the first time or are coming back to the sport after a break. Training will be from 10am-12pm.
