Success at Warly Warm Up Festival 2017 for U10/11

The Under 10/11 team demonstrated an amazing team ethos, they played for each other, communicating well and passing the ball around which resulted in some cutting edge attacks. In defence they were strong, putting in a number of big tackles and showing their newly acquired skills of rucking, mauling and scrummaging. One area that we will need to focus on going forward is clearing out the rucks and winning ruck ball.

All in all we won a couple, lost a couple (very close) and drew one. Most importantly overall the players all enjoyed themselves and had a lot of fun. This was noted and commented on by a few of the other opposition coaches..

Yet again I and the other coaches were very proud to lead out an amazing group of players under the Streatham Croydon RFC banner. Thank you to the other coaches - Roland, Miranda, Simon and Greg, parents and supporters that came to support our players.
