The Taggers
Firstly, Gary, Roland and Lal must say the Taggers were ambassadors for the club both on and off the pitch, they were brilliant.
The festival was a great event for them to experience a friendly competitive environment and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Every player got involved, whether they were a 'super starter' or 'super 'sub'. There was an appreciation that each and every player had to enjoy game time, being very accommodating when it came to being subbed off and continuing to support the team on the pitch.
On the pitch they demonstrated lots of skills, running into space, calling for the ball and passing and supporting each other really well. Whilst scores were not officially being kept, they certainly won the vast majority, if not all, of their games.
They displayed true sportsmanship, showing respect for other teams and the referees, being gracious in victory and always thanking the opposition and the referee. In the true spirit of sportsmanship, when we were approached by another club who were a player short, Kamran volunteered without hesitation to play for another club.
Did they have fun? You bet they did.
