U8 End of Season Festival at Warlingham

The same squad that played at Dorking the previous week all turned out again. The sun had been replaced by strong winds and the threat of rain. Our children again played four matches against Cobham, Wimbledon, Old Mid Whitgiftian and Farnham. All the players acquitted themselves well in each game. We scored even more tries than at Dorking, with every player scoring at least once. Players supported each other well resulting in flowing attacks. Games were mostly close although we had the upper hand in two. Occasional defensive lapses were swiftly forgiven. Our players represented the club well both on and off the pitch and the coaches managed to stay out of trouble too.
