Tries from Kai Cassemis, Chris Geary and Tim Perry enabled Streatham to progress to the semi final of the Surrey Shield. Battersea are doing well in the league above Streatham but the home side bounced back from a poor performance the previous week to produce maybe their best performance of the season so far.

Aggresive counter rucking and discuplined defence were the keys to the victory. In attack skipper Geary marshalled his troops effectively to constantly leave Battersea wonderign where the next attack would come form and the home side should of scored on at least two more occasions.

Streathma must now replicate their cup form in the league to improve their current position
