First Half tries from Josh Smith and Jonnie Korcz gave Streatham a 14-0 half time lead. Reds responded strongly after the break and got 3 points back before Duchess parker went over. Reeds responded with a try to make it 21-10 but resolute Streatham defence stopped any further scores before Harry Clark and Elvin Grant scored further tries for the Frant Road side to make the final score 31-10.
The win leaves Stret's needing to win away at Met Police on the 2nd April to confirm promotion which now rests firmly in their own hands following this fantastic result which is Reeds heaviest defeat for several seasons. With the 2nd XV winning away at Woking 41-8 to stay top of the League and the 3rd XV getting a walkover it means all 3 senior men's teams pushing for honours. Full report to follow.
